Haverford Library Hosting Balance & Agility After 65 Event

Haverford area residents 65 and older can learn ways to improve their balance and agility as they enter their golden years.

HAVERTOWN, PA – Haverford-area residents 65 years of age and older may want to stop by the Haverford Library on Sept. 12 to learn how to improve their balance and agility to enter their golden years in stride.

The library is partnering with the Haverford Township’s CREC to offer the free program "Balance and Agility after 65" from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 12 in the library's Community Room.

CREC Fitness Coordinator Jackie O’Doherty will provide information and exercises to help you be more sure-footed and keep the string in your step at any age.

O’Doherty is an ACE-certified fitness professional and is trained in various fitness disciplines. She is the creator of the Freedom Method and is a recognized expert in helping people over 55 improve balance and agility.

The event is free to attend, but registration is requested.
