Haverford Middle School Donates To Las Vegas Shooting Victims
After the tragic Las Vegas shooting in October, students at Haverford Middle School were moved to raise funds for the more than 500 victims.

HAVERTOWN, PA – Students in Haverford Middle School's Student Council decided to show that love overcomes hate recently by hosting a fundraiser to support victims of the tragic Las Vegas shooting that killed nearly 60 people and injured more than 500 others.
According to The School District of Haverford Township, the "Haverford Loves Week" was held Dec. 18 through Dec. 22.
On Dec. 22, which was designated "Haverford Loves T-Shirt Day," students sold T-shirts that read "Haverford Chooses Love Over Hate."

On that day, students sold the shirts to raise money for the Las Vegas Victims Fund.
In total, the event generated more than $2,300 for the fund.

In the tragic event, 58 people were killed and 546 people were injured at a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.
