Haverford Officials To Mull Marijuana Dispensary Ordinance

The public is invited to weigh in on the proposed ordinance at Monday night's meeting.

HAVERTOWN, PA – Haverford Township officials are inching closer to establishing township rules for potential medical marijuana dispensaries in the township. At Monday's meeting, the board of supervisors read for the first time the Medical Marijuana Zoning and Land Use Regulations.

The ordinance establishes protocol for such facilities, including entrances, specific zoning guidelines, emissions regulations, and more.

Monday's meeting will include a slide presentation on medical marijuana dispensary locations in the township as well.

Residents will have a chance to share their thoughts about the ordinance at Monday's meeting.
