Haverford Police Cop Camp Teaches Kids Ins And Outs Of Law Enforcement
Kids will learn about crime scene analysis, how detectives solve cases, how drones are used in law enforcement, and more at Cop Camp.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Kids in Haverford Township who are interested in law enforcement can sign up for Haverford's Cop Camp.
Haverford's Cop Camp will be held 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and run from June 22 to June 26 at the Haverford Police Station. Registration opens March 10 and is available to Haverford Township residents only. A $35 registration fee is required upon application approval. Those who applied in a previous year are welcome to apply again and will be added to a waitlist if openings become available.
Cop Camp is for kids 10 and 11 years old and offers them an opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of law enforcement. Over four days, campers will engage in hands-on activities designed to educate and inspire.

Program highlights include what it takes to make it through the Police Academy, the basics of crime scene analysis, how detectives solve cases, and how drones are used in law enforcement. Attendees will also meet real life officers like K-9 Team handlers, SWAT team members, honor guard officers.
Campers will participate in various interactive activities that promote, exercise, teamwork, responsibility, and respect for the law.
