Haverford Police Hosting National Night Out Event Tuesday
Stop by the Quarry Center Tuesday night to join the police-community celebration with food, games, fire trucks, police K9 units, and more.

HAVERTOWN, PA – Haverford Township Police are inviting the public to join its National Night Out celebration Tuesday evening in Havertown.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 at the Quarry Center, 116 W. Township Line Road.
Representatives from Haverford Twp. Police, Fire and EMS departments will be on hand.

There will be a brief K-9 demonstration with an opportunity to meet and greet your favorite K9.
Children will have a chance to touch and explore police cars, police motorcycles, fire trucks, ambulances and tow trucks.

Residents are asked to come and promote community safety along with fun, food and games. Secret Sauce Catering will have food available.
DJ Chris Romanelli will be providing music, State Rep. Jamie Santora will be providing water ice. Several Township Commissioners will also be attending the event.
This year’s event will include approximately 15,700 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and military bases around the world. In all, over 37.5 million people are expected to participate in this year’s event.
National Night Out is an event aimed at raising awareness of crime and drug prevention which is coordinated by the National Association of Town Watch and locally sponsored by Haverford Township Police Department
in conjunction with the Havertown Lowe's, Giant, Acme and Panera Bread.
