Haverford Police Seeking Potential Child Luring Suspect
Police said the man depicted in the sketch here asked an 8-year-old girl if she wanted a ride last week as she walked home from school.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are asking for help identifying a potential luring suspect who approached an 8-year-old girl last week in Haverford Township.
According to police, the man depicted in the sketch above asked a young girl if she wanted a ride home as she walked home from Cardinal John Foley School.
The incident occurred at about 3:35 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 26, at the intersection of Overbrook Terrace and West Hathaway Lane in the Ardmore section of the township.

Police said the man, described as a being about 55 years old with white hair and an average build, asked the child if she wanted a ride. She said not and went right to a neighbor's house, police said.

The man was reportedly driving a light-colored or white Lexus mid-size SUV, police said.
