Haverford Road Rage Ends In Philly Crash, 1 Critical: Police

Two drivers were cutting one another off in Haverford and continued into Philadelphia before the crash occurred on City Avenue.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP – A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being involved in a crash that police say was the result of road rage that began in Haverford and ended in Philadelphia.

According to police the road rage incident began in on West Chester Pike in Haverford when the victim was heading north on U.S. Route 1 in a Jeep Liberty when he and another driver began cutting one another off.

Eventually, a Buick hit the Jeep, causing it to hit a tree and flip on the 7600 block of City Avenue, police said.

The victim was rushed to Lankenau Hospital with head injuries and is listed in critical condition, according to police.

According to police the Buick's driver drove off after the crash.
