Haverford School District Looking To Fill Vacant Board Seat

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – A vacant seat on the School District of Haverford Township Board of School Directors needs to be filled and interested residents can apply to be considered for the seat now.
The board is taking applications to fill the vacancy through 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, and have lived in Haverford Township for at least one year.

At 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, the Board of School Directors will hold a public meeting where they will select five candidates to make three-minute presentations to the board on Thursday, Jan. 18. The board will choose one person to fill the vacancy at that meeting.

- In addition to being state required, is there a value to PSSA tests?
- What experiences or knowledge can you bring to the Board in the area of curriculum, finance and or facilities?
