The high school and other area schools offering the community safe, effective medication disposal to help keep drugs out of the wrong hands.

The Drug Enforcement Agency is again gearing up for its National Drug Take Back Day initiative and some local school are looking to help you safely dispose of unwanted medications this week, too. The Haverford School is one of several area schools that is joining the fight.
The high school will be accepting unused and/or unwanted medications from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 27 in the front of the Upper School.
While the school is hosting the drug take back initiative Thursday, school rules still apply, meaning students and minors are not permitted to possess medications even if they are planning to dispose of them.
