Haverford School Lower School writers receive 32 of 62 awards in Junior Author Contest
Students from nine local schools submitted 480 entries for The Gladwyne Library League's 44th Annual Junior Author Contest.

Students from nine local schools submitted 480 entries for The
Gladwyne Library League's 44th Annual Junior Author Contest. First-
through fifth-graders competed in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The
Haverford School writers won 32 of the 62 awards – 18 nonfiction, 7
poetry, and 7 fiction! Each winner received a book supplied by
Children's Book World in Haverford and will have their work bound and
housed in the Gladwyne Free Library.
First-grade winners
