Haverford Students Earn Medals At State 24 Competition
Two students earned some hardware for the skills in the math-focused competition. Congratulations!

HAVERTOWN, PA –Two School District of Haverford Township students recently earned some high honors at a state math competition.
Fifth grader Isabel Rodriguez and sixth grader Jean Park both competed in the state 24 competition on June 14 for the School District of Haverford Township.
Rodriguez and Park competed against more than 140 other top 24 contestants from around the state.

The pair performed well enough in the first two rounds to qualify for the semifinals, where they both earned silver medals and placed in the top 16 in the state.
24 is a mathematics game that serves as a teaching tool that engages students first grade through ninth grade from diverse economic and social backgrounds.
