Havertown Community Rock Garden Opens Tuesday
The Delaware Valley Rocks group is inviting to to celebrate the new community rock garden coming to Havertown's Bailey Park.
HAVERTOWN, PA – Havertown's Bailey Park is getting its own community rock garden and you're invited to attend its grand opening this week.
The Delaware Valley Rocks group is hosting a free celebration of the rock garden's grand opening Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baily Park on Virginia Avenue.
The event will include music, food, and rock painting.

The rock garden is possible thanks to Commissioner Mario Oliva, Director Tim Denny of Haverford Township Parks & Recreation, and the Manoa Civic Association granting Delaware Valley Rocks the approval to install the garden.
The rock garden is meant to inspire creativity and positivity, the group said.
