Havertown Deli Giving Away Samples Tuesday In Honor Of Eagles Win
Centrella's in Havertown will be getting a visit from the folks from a Massachusetts deli Tuesday as they deliver a 6-foot hoagie per a bet.

HAVERTOWN, PA – Centrella's Deli in Havertown is just one of the many Philadelphia-area establishments that won its bet with a New England counterpart following the Eagles' victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl 52 Sunday night.
And with winning the bet comes a hand-delivered six-foot hoagie – not a sub – from Lucci's Market in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
"He called me at 7 a.m. today," Centrella's owner AJ Loustau said of Lucci's owner John Lucci. "He's coming down first thing in the morning Tuesday."

Lucci will bring a six-foot Italian hoagie to Havertown, per the bet's details.
But Loustau said he will be giving out free samples while they last beginning at noon Tuesday in honor of the Eagles' historic win.

The bet had some great provisions, neither of which had to be enforced.
There was an "Inflation Insurance Provision," which stated the bet is no good if the NFL finds any balls in the big game to be insufficiently inflated, and the Donovan McNabb Provision, who (allegedly) vomited on the sidelines during the 2005 Super Bowl when the Eagles and Patriots faced off, which stated: "If any quarterback of any team vomits on the sideline within the last five minutes of the competition, automatic loss of wager."
Centrella's is located at 10 Brookline Boulevard in Havertown.
