Giambuzzi has been ordered to have no internet, no unsupervised contact with minors, and must complete a psychological and sexual evaluation.
He was charged following a joint investigation into alleged child pornography in the county.
The Delaware County District Attorney's office said Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division detectives, along with members of the Delaware County PA Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Haverford Township Police Department, executed a search warrant on Giambuzzi’s North Drexel Avenue home on May 10.
The warrant was executed after authorities tracked the IP address of a Skype user, later identified as Giambuzzi, who was uploading child pornography, the DA's office said.
According to the DA's office, Giambuzzi attempted to hide a flash drive in his pocket that contained child pornography while authorities searched his home.
After searching Giambuzzi and finding the drive, authorities searched the drive as well as his computer and devices, where they found hundreds of images of child porn, the DA's office said. Detectives discovered more than 970 images of child pornography on a desktop computer, as well as more than 1,530 images that are considered "child erotica" and may not constitute pornography, the DA's office said.
Additionally, detectives found more than 700 images and more than 100 videos on the flash drive that Giambuzzi attempted to keep from authorities, the DA's office said. The criminal complaint filed against Giambuzzi alleges about 50 of the 100 videos contained apparent child pornography, according to the DA's office.
Authorities also found several Skype conversations that indicated Giambuzzi was spying on his family and trading pictures of his family members, the DA's office said. The criminal complaint filed against him claims Giambuzzi also had a lot of conversations about incest.
