HBO Series Now Filming In Delco
The critically acclaimed series has deep ties to the county.
UPPER DARBY, PA — HBO's "Task," a critically acclaimed TV series with deep ties to Delaware County, has returned to Delco to film Season 2.
The series has been filming in Upper Darby's Drexel Hill section this past week, with work scheduled to continue there through at least Friday, according to the township.
"Task" follows FBI agent Tom Brandis (Mark Ruffalo), who leads a task force in the working-class Philadelphia suburbs to investigate a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspected family man.

The show has deep Delco ties, with much of Season 1's filming and storyline centering around the county. Creator Brad Ingelsby is a Berwyn native who attended high school in Radnor and then Villanova University.
The first season, which premiered in November, is nominated for six Emmy Awards.
