Heavy Fire Guts Delco Home
Firefighters opened up walls and ceilings to battle the blaze that spread through the house.
RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, PA — Heavy fire gutted a house Monday in the Folsom section of Ridley Township.
Multiple fire departments were dispatched at 5:06 p.m. to the 500 block of Perry Street. Crews found heavy flames on the rear deck, which stretched into the home's first and second floors, according to Ridley Township Fire Company No. 1.
Firefighters opened up walls and ceilings to track down hot spots. The fire was placed under control in about 30 minutes, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
