Help Organize Havertown's First Ever Irish Festival

The festival is set for June 24, but you can get involved next week.

Havertown is called the 33rd county of Ireland by many and this year Havertown is really tapping into the Irish roots and culture by hosting the first ever Havertown Irish Festival. The event is set for June 24, but organizers are holding an open meeting for community members looking to become involved.

The open meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 11at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs of J.D. McGillicuddy's, 37 Brookline Boulevard, Havertown.

Residents and businesses interesting in organizing, planning, and executing the festival can attend to offer input, ask questions, and stay up to date on the festival.
