Hurricane Ian Cancels Haverford Township Day 2022

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township officials have canceled Haverford Township Day 2022.

Officials canceled the annual event due to remnants of Hurricane Ian hitting the region this weekend.

"The Township Day Committee felt we could not safely conduct the day’s festivities with the wind and rain forecasted," a statement on the cancelation said. "The day is a huge undertaking with a parade, 5K, 200 vendors, 4 bands and many street performers which makes it impossible to reschedule."
