I-476 South Lanes Closing Overnight In Delco, Montco Next Week

PennDOT's road surfacing work will affect part of Interstate 476 in Marple, Haverford, Radnor, and Lower Merion overnight next week.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Interstate 476 south will have overnight lane closures next week in a few Delaware County and Montgomery County municipalities.

According to PennDOT, a lane on the highway will close Sunday through Friday for micro surfacing operations.

The affected portion is between the U.S. 1 and Interstate 76 interchanges in Radnor, Haverford, Marple, and Lower Merion townships, as well as West Conshohocken Borough.

PennDOT said the closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

This work is a part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
