The audio, obtained by NBC news, reveals the chaotic moments after 25-year-old Folcroft officer Christopher Dorman was shot responding to a call shortly before 10 a.m.

A suspect has been taken into custody but has not yet been identified.
The officer was shot multiple times and was rushed to the hospital, where a spokesperson told NBC10 he has been stabilized.

According to sources, the 25-year-old officer was responding to a call about drug activity when he was ambushed while wearing a protective vest. An area resident told NBC10 the suspect was smoking marijuana outside a building on Elmwood Avenue just before the shooting.
