Lane Closing On Haverford Township Road Next Week: PennDOT

This work is part of ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region, PennDOT said.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Road in Haverford Township will have a lane closure during the daytime next week due to various work, PennDOT said.

From Monday through Friday, a lane on Haverford Road will close 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of road is between Winchester Road/Karakung Road and the Delaware County line for utility adjustments, milling, and paving.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
