Lanes Closing On West Chester Pike Through Oct 31 in Delaware County

The lane closures will impact traffic in Edgmont, Newtown, Marple, Haverford, and Upper Darby townships, according to PennDOT.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Delaware County will have moving lane closures during the nighttime for two weeks to accommodate crack sealing operations, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, West Chester Pike lanes will be closing in Edgmont, Newtown, Marple, Haverford, and Upper Darby townships starting Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Work will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers will encounter the moving lane closures through Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur.
