UPPER DARBY, PA — A Delaware County man will spend as much as 20 years in prison for fatally shooting his brother after a basketball game in Haverford Township led to an argument and threats.
Amir Byrd, 20, of Upper Darby, was sentenced to 5 to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree murder Monday, court records show.
Byrd fatally shot his brother Anthony Byrd Jr., 22, March 25, 2023, in Upper Darby.
