Man Wanted For Fatal Shooting At Delco Church Property

A warrant has been issued for Rasheed Robinson, 25, of East Lansdowne​, in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday in Darby.

DARBY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are searching for a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred at a church-owned property Sunday.

Rasheed Robinson, 25, of East Lansdowne, is wanted for the Sunday shooting at 1014 Center St. in Darby Borough that killed Bennie Drake, authorities said.

The shooting occurred after Robinson and Drake got into an argument, according to authorities.

Robinson is alleged by authorities to have run from the property, which Action News reported as owned by Mount Zion AME Church, after the shooting.

Drake was found dead at the scene with nine gunshot wounds.

A warrant has been issued for Robinson’s arrest on charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, assault, endangering the welfare of children, firearm crimes, and more.

He is described as having a medium build, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds.

Authorities said Robinson has two face tattoos, one says “SNL” on the right side of the right eye and the other is Arabic writing.

Robinson is known to frequent the area of 60th and Spruce streets, 60th and Cedar streets, as well as the area of Mayfair and Oxford Circle in Philadelphia.
