HAVERFORD, PA – Manoa Road in Haverford Township will be closing for three days later this week for sewer work, according to the township. The road will close between Darby and Naylors Run roads from Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 21, the township said. The road will be closed in both directions between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the township. The township said motorists should plan alternates routes and account for increased travel time when driving through the area. Image via Shutterstock

HAVERFORD, PA – Manoa Road in Haverford Township will be closing for three days later this week for sewer work, according to the township.

The road will close between Darby and Naylors Run roads from Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 21, the township said. The road will be closed in both directions between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the township.

Sarah Larsen, an award winning fiddler and educator, guides audiences through the life and recorded legacy of Kenny Baker. Highly regarded as the “Godfather of Bluegrass Fiddle”, Baker’s enduring career has influenced legions of fiddle players and delighted bluegrass fans for generations.
Tracing his early career through his tenure with Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys and beyond, she will demonstrate Baker’s elegant “long-bow” style while highlighting some of his signature tunes.
2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the seminal album "Kenny Baker Plays Bill Monroe". Ms. Larsen will perform the album in its entirety. She is joined by Jim Pankey (banjo), Ryan Rogers (mandolin), Cory Chubb (guitar), and Rob Parks (bass).
Advance General Admission Seating $20. Advance VIP Table $30. (minimum 2 per table) $35. at the door. Advance ticket sales end at 5PM day of show.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Doors open at 7:00 pm. 7:30 show.&nbsp;
BYOB is welcome for an additional $5 donation per drinker. Disposable cups and ice provided. No Food is served at the Kelly Center. You can bring in outside food. There is a vending machine with snacks , cold drinks, and coffee pods for a Keurig.&nbsp;&nbsp;
