Maximize Your LinkedIn Profile At The Haverford Free Library

Tons of social media sites exist in the digital world. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more take up many lanes the information superhighway to share photos, news, life events, etc.

But LinkedIn is one social media platform that aims to help you grow professionally and the Haverford Free Library is looking make your profile stand out among its millions of users.

For just $20, you can attend a three-session series on making the most of your LinkedIn profile at the library.

The three sessions will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturdays March 4, April 1, and April 29.

Lynne Williams of Delaware and Chester County SCORE will lead the sessions, for which attendees must bring a personal laptop.

The sessions will cover:

Profile Basics – March 4

• Maximize your LinkedIn profile with some tips and tricks like building Search Engine Optimization, privacy settings and much more. Event advanced users have learned a few new tricks.

Beyond the Basics – April 1

• Attend this session to learn some tricks that may be unfamiliar to eave advanced LinkedIn users. Learn how to join and manage groups, use QR codes, access free videos, webinars and more.

Advanced Techniques – April 29

• Learn how to apply and save jobs; key word searches for networking and/or finding people for job seeking or business development; research and leverage those second level connections for warm introductions though your sphere of influence; filtering techniques; and advanced searches.

Cash or checks made payable to "Chester County SCORE" will be accepted for the $20 fee at the door.
