Oct. Haverford-Havertown Health Inspections: White Dog, 2 Schools

HAVERFORD-HAVERTOWN, PA – The Haverford Township and Montgomery County health departments inspected a handful of establishments in areas of Haverford and Havertown this October and found many to be in violations of various health codes.

The departments visited five facilities in the Haverford-Havertown areas.

The White Dog Café's Haverford location led the way with 14 violations this October. Those included a container of chick on the floor by a sink, lower than acceptable holding temperatures for a sauce, mouse-like droppings found in a closet, and more.

Below are the establishments inspected, inspection dates, and the number of violations:

  • Bruegger's Bagels – Oct. 27, 12 violations
  • White Dog Café, Haverford – Oct. 19, 14 violations
  • The Haverford School Dining Hall – Oct. 6, five violations
  • The Haverford School Café AKA "The Fords Hall" – Oct. 6, no violations
  • Chatham Park Elementary School – Oct. 6, no violations
