Stephen Kamnik secretly filmed and photographed several women, including in a State Police locker room and during court proceedings.
NORRISTOWN, PA — A State Police corporal from Havertown pleaded guilty Wednesday to making deepfake pornography of Pennsylvania residents, accessing child porn, and secretly filming women, including coworkers.

For years, Kamnik used Commonwealth computer resources to make A.I.-generated pornography of several female Pennsylvania residents, according to State Attorney General Dave Sunday. He made some of it at the State Police barracks in Montgomery County.
He also secretly filmed several women he came into contact with, including while on-duty, Sunday said. That included repeatedly entering a women's locker room at the barracks and taking photos.

Kamnick illegally filmed one of the victims during a Montgomery County Magisterial Court proceeding, which he edited for lewd purposes, authorities said.
Meanwhile, Kamnick obtained hundreds of photos of female residents from a state database, which he kept on his phone and an external hard drive, Sunday said.
He was also found with child pornography and a stolen .22 caliber firearm, officials said.
"This defendant pleaded guilty to the full scope of conduct outlined in charging documents — and in regards to all in-person victims," Sunday said in a statement. "These crimes stain the great work being done by law enforcement every day in communities across the Commonwealth."
Kamnick was charged last year and remains suspended without pay.
He pleaded guilty to:
- four felony counts of unlawful use of computer
- felony sexual abuse of children
- felony receiving stolen property (regarding a firearm)
- felony unlawful duplication
- felony interception, disclosure or use of wire, electronic or oral communications
- felony criminal trespass
- Misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy, official oppression, tampering with evidence, misapplication of entrusted property, and unlawful use of an audio or video device in court
