Panorama 2016 Lecture: Your Carbon Footprint featuring Bill Hoo

Environmental Photographer Bill Hoo discusses climate change and his own extensive photographic work on Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath

As a featured lecture of Panorama 2016, Environmental Photographer Bill Hoo discusses climate change and his involvement with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project through the lens of his own extensive photographic work on Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. Hoo’s own documentary photography is augmented by extensive research in the field, collaborations with like-minded scholars and activists, and tangible ways individuals, friends and families can help make a difference for our environment. This screening is part of Panorama 2016 at Main Line Art Center occuring between September 10 to November 5. Anchored by a featured exhibition and a dynamic and interactive evening festival at Main Line Art Center on October 22 from 5 to 9 pm, the 2-month happening features physical and virtual exhibitions, lectures, and educational programs led by accomplished artists who utilize digital technology to deliver the unexpected.
