Parents And Guardians: Take A Night Off Courtesy Of Haverford School District

The school district is holding an event for kids 5 to 12 years old so you parents and guardians can have a night off.

The School District of Haverford Township cares deeply about its students. It also cares deeply about its student's parents and guardians.

That's why it's offering parent and guardians a night of respite on Dec. 17 with a "Parents Night" event.

From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Haverford High School gym kids from 5 to 12 years old will be able to enjoy lots of activities that will give parents and guardians a night to themselves.

Kids will enjoy sports, movies, board games, arts & crafts & more. The school will provide kids a light snack of mini pretzels will be provided, so make sure kids have a meal before coming to the event.

High school staff and student volunteers will supervise the event, which is free but donations are accepted and will benefit the Haverford High School Class of 2019 and the school's BuildOn Club.

Parent must fill out the registration and consent form, which can be found online here, before the event. Walk-ups are welcome, however parents must complete the registration and consent form upon arrival.

Registration forms and donations can be mailed to Greg Decina, Haverford HS, 200 Mill Road, Havertown, PA 19083. Checks and cash donations can be made payable to the School District of Haverford Township.
