Peer Into the Cosmos Thursday At Haverford Twp. Free Library

Come explore the stars at the Haverford Township Free Library Thursday night with a special astronomy presentation.

Kevin Manning, who has worked as a NASA consultant and Chandra X-Ray Observatory launched on the space shuttle with the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, will give the presentation, which is described as "inspiring and uplifting that will draw you into a deeper understanding of the workings of the universe."

After Manning's presentation is finished, attendees will gather outside the library to observe the rings of Saturn through a powerful hand-crafted telescope if the weather allows it.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public and astronomer of all ages. Registration is not required.
