Philadelphia Area Non-Profit Is Hosting Business Leaders Aboard Freedom Elite Yacht For Complimentary Cruise

The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial will be celebrating its 39th year in operation while hitting the milestone of serving 25,000 families of PA, NJ, and DE in programs of financial assistance, respite days, and non-cash donations. The Fund has impacted these families when they have children with a serious illness, disability, or injury.

In partnership with Entertainment Cruises and the Freedom Elite yacht, the Fund is proud to launch a special networking cruise for interested Philadelphia area business leaders to collaborate with the non-profit organization. Sponsored by Entertainment Cruises, the Fund is promoting this event as the ‘Fund Networking Cruise’ on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00PM for boarding at Penn’s Landing.

The Freedom Elite will set sail along the Delaware River from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Light fare and cocktails will be available while on board.

By working closely with healthcare professionals since 1976, the Fund has responded to requests for everyday expenses (such as electric, telephone, gas/oil heating, etc.) of their patient families for needs not covered by insurance when high medical and out-of-pocket expenses deplete budgets. They have aided families caring for children with all sorts of conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Rare Genetic Disorders, Autism, and more. The Fund is not disease specific.

This year, the Fund is treating regional business leaders and professionals to a complimentary cruise aboard the Freedom Elite to form alliances within the for-profit and non-profit circle. Entertainment Cruises, founded in 1978, has grown rapidly with 30 boats across 9 locations while hosting more than 1.5 million guests each year. Entertainment Cruises has partnered with the Fund in support of its cause since 2000.
