Photo Of Delco Mosque Shooting Suspect Released

UPPER DARBY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County released a photo of the person they believe shot and killed a man outside a mosque Sunday night.

The shooting occurred at about 7:45 p.m. outside the Masjid Al Madinah Islamic Center on the 200 block of 69th Street in Upper Darby.

A Mohammad Mahabub Rahman, 65, died after being shot while about 150 people were praying in the house of worship.

Rahman's vehicle was taken but later found on the 800 block of Cecil Street in Philadelphia.

Police said Rahman was married and had children and was employed by the Philadelphia prison system.
