Pickpocket Suspect Sought In Haverford After Using Stolen Credit Cards

Haverford Township Police said the person seen here pickpocketed a restaurant patron then used credit cards at Manoa Shopping Center stores.

HAVERFORD, PA — Police in Haverford Township are asking for help identifying a suspected pickpocket.

The incident occurred Oct. 15 in a township restaurant.

Police said the person seen above stole a wallet with credit cards in it from a patron at the restaurant, which police did not name.

The suspect then used the credit cards at businesses in the Manoa Shopping Center within 45 minutes of the theft, police said.

Police described the suspect as a short black woman with a heavy build.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket, a pink shirt, white sneakers, and large sunglasses.

Police said she has brown-black hair with red-auburn highlights.

She was seen in what police said appeared to be a 2008-era Toyota Solara with a tan convertible covering that was driven by a larger black man, police said.
