HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 18 and Oct. 22.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Identity Theft at the 100 block of David Drive on Oct. 18 at 10:46 a.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to open credit card accounts using his identity.
- Theft at the 100 block of E. Eagle Road on Oct. 18 at 2:55 p.m. – Two packages were stolen from the victim’s porch after they were delivered.
- Public Drunkenness at Wilson Avenue and N. Manoa Road on Oct. 19 at 10:37 p.m. – 40-year-old male, 600 block of Kenmore Road was cited for public drunkenness.
- Theft at the 100 block of Hathaway Lane on Oct. 19 at 10:23 a.m. – Political sign was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Exeter Road on Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown male entered her vehicle. The victim observed the actor seated in the driver’s seat going through her center console. The suspect fled when the victim approached him.
- Theft at the 100 block of Hathaway Lane on Oct. 20 at 10:33 a.m. – Political sign was stolen.
- Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Vernon Road on Oct. 22 at 8:27 a.m. – Victim reported that the plastic rear windows of her jeep were cut.
- Fraud at the 1800 block of Hawthorne Avenue on Oct. 22 at 5:57 p.m. – An unknown actor made an unauthorized purchase with the victim’s credit card.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 22 at 5:09 p.m. – An unknown male stole approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 22 at 4:26 p.m. – Store manager reported that two unknown males scammed an employee into loading $3,737 onto various gift cards.
- Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Canterbury Road on Oct. 22 at 10:36 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
Arrests
- 40-year-old male, 200 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, evading arrest on foot, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, simple assault. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Oct. 21 at 1:22 p.m.
- 35-year-old female, 200 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, fleeing to elude officer, driving at unsafe speed, suspended driver’s license, unregistered vehicle and fraudulent removal of license plate. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Oct. 21 at 1:22 p.m.
