Pothole Repair Work Planned On Delco Roads Next Week

Crews will be working on 32 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties to address deteriorated roads.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — More pothole repair work is planned on a handful of roads in Delaware County next week, PennDOT said.

Crews will be working on 32 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties to address deteriorated roads.

Periodic daytime lane closures and possible slowdowns will occur next week due to the work.

Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

Below are Delaware County roads being targeted for repairs:

  • I-95, Chester City, Chester and Tinicum townships
  • U.S. 1, (State Road) Springfield Township
  • U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway), Chester and Upper Chichester townships
  • Barron Road, Middletown Township

Since Jan. 1, PennDOT District 6 has received more than 1,700 customer concerns regarding potholes and has used more than 520 tons of asphalt across the five-county Philadelphia region.
