Property Searched For Delco Woman Who Disappeared In 2014: Reports

Amanda DeGuio went missing in 2014. Authorities have reportedly searched a Chester County property in connection with her disappearance.

UPPER DARBY, PA — After renewing the search for a Delaware County woman who went missing eight years ago, authorities have reportedly searched a Chester County property in connection with her disappearance.

NBC10 reports the authorities searched a property on Red Pump Road in Nottingham, a community in southern Chester County near the Maryland border, to search for Amanda DeGuio, a 32-year-old mother of two from Delaware County.

Local, state and federal law authorities went to the property with search dogs and other specialized equipment Wednesday, Fox 29 reports.

According to the FBI, DeGuio, was last seen by her family in Upper Darby the first week of June 2014 after she returned from a trip to Florida.

She left home without her cell phone, credit cards, or additional clothing, the FBI said.
DeGuio does not drive, and it is unknown how she left home.

She is known to frequent the Upper Darby, Clifton Heights, and the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.

DeGuio's family and Upper Darby Police held a press conference Thursday asking the public for help.

"To the family and friends of Amanda, we have not stopped looking, and we will not stop looking," Upper Darby Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said during the press conference. "You deserve answers and Amanda deserves to be brought home."

The FBI described DeGuio as about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Additionally, she has tattoos of lips or a lipstick mark on the right cheek of her buttocks, the Italian boot shape and the word "Tommy" on her right torso, writing under one of her breasts, initials on the top of one of her fingers, and the letters "MF" on the inside of her lower lip. She also has a diagonal surgical scar on her upper and lower abdomen.

The FBI said she is a known heroin addict and may suffer from bipolar disorder.
