Prowling At Night, Thefts, Assault, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township released their weekly crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 17 and April 23.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS

• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Circle Drive on April 17 at 11:12 a.m. – Victim reported that a bank account was opened using his identity.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 800 block of Miller Avenue on April 17 at 7 a.m.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 18 at 9:39 a.m. – An unknown male stole $50.86 worth of flowers.
• Criminal Mischief at the 2600 block of Ashwood Drive on April 19 at 8:14 a.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.
• Fraud at Smoke Scene, 1500 block of West Chester Pike, on April 19 at 1:01 p.m. – The owner reported that an ex-employee made numerous unauthorized transactions from the business account to his personal credit cards.
• Theft at Bridgee Bees Floral Creations, 700 block of West Chester Pike, on April 19 at 9:22 a.m. – The owner reported she received an online order for a floral arrangement. The credit card payment was declined after delivery was made.
• Theft at the 100 block of Charles Drive on April 20 at 12:57 p.m. – Victim discovered a package was tampered with when it was delivered. The cell phone had been removed from the box.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 20 at 3:51 p.m. – Two unknown males stole $506.63 worth of cleaning products.
• Theft at the 1900 block of Robinson Avenue on April 22 at 3:22 p.m. – Victim reported that his credit card was stolen from his wallet and two unauthorized purchases were made.
• Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on April 22 at 11:44 am. – Victim reported $120 was stolen from his room.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 22 at 11:36 a.m. – On 3/31 an unknown male stole $220.49 worth of groceries.
• Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 22 at 8:49 a.m. – On 4/12 an unknown male stole $453.07 worth of groceries.
• Criminal Mischief at the unit block of E. Marthart Avenue on April 23 at 8:08 p.m. – Residence was egged.
• Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on April 23 at 11:59 a.m. – An electric scooter was stolen from the bicycle rack.

ARRESTS

• 39-year-old male, 100 block of Forge Road, Glen Mills. Charges: Loitering and prowling at night, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, evading arrest and false identification to law enforcement. Location: 2500 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue. Date: April 17 at 9:27 p.m.
• 27-year-old male, 100 block of Garrett Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock, DUI suspended license and no valid inspection. Location: West Chester Pike and Darby Road. Date: April 18 at 7:08 p.m.
• 46-year-old female, 1900 block of Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: April 19 at 1:35 p.m.
• 32-year-old female, unit block of School Lane, Ardmore. Charges: Criminal Mischief. Location: E. Manoa and Old Manoa Roads. Date: April 19 at 6:11 p.m.
• 45-year-old female, 1200 block of Chestnut Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 100 block of Juniper Road. Date: April 21 at 6:45 p.m.
• 45-year-old female, 1200 block of Chestnut Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 100 block of Juniper Road. Date: April 21 at 645 p.m.
• 20-year-old male, 600 block of Grand Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Possession of marijuana. Location: 1300 block of Annabella Avenue. Date: April 23 at 2:44 p.m., incident occurred on 12/19/23,
• 41-year-old male, 2200 block of County Line Road, Ardmore. Charges: Defiant trespass, simple assault, loitering and prowling at night and harassment. Location: 2200 block of County Line Road. Date: April 22 at 5:32 a.m.
• 34-year-old female, 100 block of Linton Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: April 23 at 6:15 p.m.
• 44-year-old female, 2200 block of Palmer Avenue, Bristol. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: April 23 at 6:15 p.m.
