Reindeer Are Better Than People
A Frozen Princess Event in Haverford. Local Prince and Princesses will be receive special Frozen services and meet our Elsa.
Kristoff from the movie Frozen comments that “reindeer are better than people,” although quickly adds “but people smell better than reindeer.” This is not the only profound statement to come from the movie.
On Tuesday, November 4th, illuminate, A Boutique Salon Spa in Haverford will celebrate the essence and lessons from the movie Frozen with a special in-salon experience for our local prince and princesses.
In the movie, Princess Elsa isolates herself from the world because she has a trait that makes her different. She was taught by her parents and community to ‘conceal, don’t feel.’ Elsa struggles with an inner battle on how to accept her uniqueness, how to be brave, and how to love when she is afraid. In the end, she figures out how to ‘let it go’ through the love and acceptance from her sister.

Lending support and love to our clients while helping them to see and embrace their unique beauty is a core tenant of our mission at illuminate. By inviting our local prince and princesses into the salon to celebrate these lessons, we hope that the broader community will become more aware and embrace them as well.
You can make an appointment to join us on this special day (Tues, Nov 4th between 11am – 4pm) by calling 484-416-3235. Our guest prince and princesses will get their hair styled in a Princess Elsa inspired look, be airbrushed with a unique snowflake, receive a Frozen mini-manicure, meet Princess Elsa and receive a personalized autograph. The cost is $25 per person. We hope that it will be a unique and beautiful experience for all of our guests. We promise, when finished, you will definitely smell better than a reindeer!!
