Reminder: Town Hall Meeting On Heroin Sept. 27 In Havertown
As prescription opioids and heroin ravage communities across the nation, Haverford is hoping to keep residents abreast of the epidemic.

HAVERTOWN, PA – In case you missed it, a town hall meeting focusing on the heroin epidemic in the area is being held Wednesday, Sept. 27 in Haverford Township.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27 in the Haverford High School auditorium.
The meeting will feature township officials, medical professionals, recovering users, families affected by the drug, and two other special guest speakers, all of whom will provide information on how heroin is affecting the Haverford-Havertown area.

The guest speakers will be Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan and Executive Deputy Pennsylvania Attorney General Robert Reed.
The meeting is being hosted by the Haverford Alliance for Drug Awareness.
