Renovations Underway at Havertown GIANT Grocery Store
New decor, updated offerings, more pharmacy services, and expanded curbside pick up are among the store's renovations.

HAVERTOWN, PA — The GIANT grocery store on West Township Line Road in Havertown is getting a facelift.
Renovations and remodeling are underway at the store to update its offerings and look.
The remodel will include all new decor throughout the store and will completely update the store’s fresh offerings, with an expanded farm fresh produce department and introduction of a designated plant-based product area, all new meat and seafood department and enhanced prepared food offerings.

The pharmacy is also getting a refresh with the addition of a consultation room to administer vaccines and speak with the pharmacist in a more private setting.
Additionally, the store will also be expanding its easy curbside pick-up for customers who prefer to order their groceries online.

Officials said the work is expected to be done by early fall.
"Whether during the shopping experience itself or in providing meal solutions, we strive to help our customers save time, so they have more time to connect with their families over a meal," said Kevin O’Hara, GIANT store manager. "From updating our current departments to offering more product variety and expanding easy curbside grocery pick-up, this remodel is focused on simplifying shopping for busy Havertown families."
The store is open from 6 a.m. to midnight during the work.
