Alex’s Pizzeria 400 Leverington Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19128

A slightly thicker crust and homemade sauce are what make the difference in the pies here. Be warned, it is definitely a no frills spot with a very limited menu. Small or large pizzas with your choice of toppings are what’s available. Click for the review.

A kitschy mug collection, some delicious tuna salad and spicy potatoes are the draw of this local joint. The prices are right and it’s an ideal place to meet someone for a casual catch up session. Click for the review.
