Robbery, Theft, Assault, Stolen Vehicle, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township recently released two weeks' worth of crime incidents, arrests, and citations.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Sept. 8 and Sept. 19.

The blotter also includes arrests made between Sept. 7 and Sept. 19.

INCIDENTS

• Bicycle Theft at Haverford College, 300 block of Lancaster Avenue, on Sept. 8 at 6:33 p.m.
• Fraud at Havertown Post Office, 400 block of E. Township Line Road, on Sept. 6 at 3:45 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Theft at the 1500 block of Brierwood Road on Sept. 7 at 7:22 a.m. – Bike rack was stolen from a vehicle.
• Counterfeiting at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Sept. 7 at 10:10 a.m. – Two unknown males went to the bar with counterfeit one hundred dollar bills and bought one drink and left with the change after.
• Theft at the 2000 block of W. Darby Road on Sept. 8 at 9:08 a.m. – Air conditioning condenser was stolen.
• Theft at Haverford College, unit block of Hannum Drive, on Sept. 9 at 3:58 p.m. – Victim reported that her electric scooter was stolen sometime in July. It was unsecured leaning on a bike rack.
• Public Drunkenness at the 400 block of N. Manoa Road on Sept. 9 at 12:28 a.m. – 28–year–old male, 400 block of N. Manoa Road was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
• Theft at the unit block of Coopertown Road on Sept. 10 at 7:12 a.m.– Victim reported that four unknown actors entered two of his vehicles, a bag a loose change and keys were stolen.
• Theft at the 100 block of Golf Hills Road on Sept. 10 at 2:18 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, headphones and a cell phone mount were stolen.
• Theft at the 500 block of Greenview Lane on Sept. 10 at 8:02 p.m. – Victim reported that a package was stolen from her porch after it was delivered.
• Attempted Retail Theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 10 at 5:02 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal over $100 worth of detergent.
• Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft at the 400 block of Darby Road on Sept. 10 at 7:45 a.m. – Victim reported that his vehicle window was smashed, and the steering column was ripped off.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 300 block of Exeter Road on Sept. 10 at 2:57 a.m.
• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Overhill Road on Sept. 11 at 4:08 pm. – Victim reported that someone opened an AT&T account using his identity. $2,371.15 in charges were made on the account.
• Identity Theft at the 300 block of Campbell Avenue on Sept. 11 at 7:20 p.m. – Victim reported someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the unit block of Jacalyn Drive on Sept. 12 at 2:46 p.m. – An unknown actor redeemed 20,000 airlines miles from the victim’s American Airlines account.
• Fraud at the 800 block of West Chester Pike on Sept. 12 at 4:54 p.m. – Victim reported that her American Airlines account was accessed and 36,000 miles had been redeemed.
• Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Woodmere Way on Sept. 12 at 4:05 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open three fraudulent credit card accounts.
• Identity Theft at the 2400 block of Avon Road on Sept. 13 at 1:39 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a Home Depot credit card account.
• Criminal Mischief at the unit block of S. Eagle Road on Sept. 13 at 10:13 p.m. – Vehicle rear windshield was shattered.
• Robbery at Swiss Farms, 1200 block of Township Line Road, on Sept. 14 at 10:27 a.m. – Two unknown males stole $12,000 worth of cigarettes as they were being unloaded from the delivery truck.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Brookline Boulevard on Sept. 14 at 11:46 a.m. – Victim reported that three credit card accounts were opened using her identity.
• Identity Theft at Bryn Mawr Dental Associates, 900 block of Haverford Road, on Sept. 14 at 3:01 p.m. – The owner reported that someone used his identity to apply for a Small Business Association loan.
• Fraud at the 2400 block of Parkview Drive on Sept. 14 at 6:37 p.m. – Multiple unauthorized charges were made with the victim’s stolen credit cards.
• Public Drunkenness at the 2700 block of Oakford Road on Sept. 14 at 8:03 p.m. – 57–year–old female, unit block of Patton Drive, Ardmore was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
• Theft at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 15 at 10:49 a.m. – Vehicle was entered – credit cards were stolen. Approximately $3,000 in unauthorized were made with the credit cards.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 1100 block of Bon Air Road on Sept. 15 at 10:44 a.m.
• Liquor Law Violation at the 100 block of Fairfield Road on Sept. 16 at 10:10 p.m. – Juveniles were cited for underage drinking.
• Theft at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 3:49 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed – house keys and a wallet containing $40, credit cards, gift cards and driver’s license was stolen.
• Theft at the 2000 block of Belvedere Avenue on Sept. 17 at 7:43 p.m. – A package was stolen after it was delivered.
• Forgery at the 100 block of Wilson Avenue on Sept. 17 at 3:34 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
• Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Lynnewood Drive on Sept. 17 at 9:03 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to remove a large amount of money from his bank account.
• Public Drunkenness at the unit block of N. Manoa Road on Sept. 17 at 8:32 p.m. – 24–year–old female, 400 block of Glendale Road was cited for public drunkenness.
• Theft at the 700 block of Haverford Road on Sept. 18 at 1:32 p.m. – Victim reported that $56 and her driver's license was stolen from her wallet.
• Public Drunkenness at the unit block of N. Manoa Road on Sept. 18 at 1:15 a.m. – 24–year–old female, 400 block of Glendale Road was cited for public drunkenness.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 19 at 7:58 p.m. – 56–year–old male, 600 block of Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia was cited for retail theft of $100.15 worth of groceries.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 2100 block of Haverford Road on Sept. 19 at 3:57 p.m.

ARRESTS

• 38–year–old female, 700 block of Burmont Road, Drexel Hill. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 7 at 6:34 p.m.
• 28–year–old male, 3000 block of Witte Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 7 at 6:34 p.m.
• 37–year–old female, unit block of Kern Street, Collingdale. Charges: DUI, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Location: Darby and W. Marthart Avenue. Date: Sept. 9 at 7:54 p.m.
• 24–year–old female, 5900 block of Cobbs Creek Parkway, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Sept. 9 at 1:23 p.m.
• 18–year–old female, 5900 block of Cobbs Creek Parkway, Philadelphia. Charges: Robbery, simple assault and retail theft. Location: Giant. Date: Sept. 9 at 1:23 p.m.
• 28–year–old male, unit block of Winterhaven Drive, Newark DE. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 11 at 6:04 p.m.
• 21–year–old male, 100 block of N. Dewey Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 15 at 10:07 p.m.
• 26–year–old male, unit block of Ellis Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: Darby and Coopertown Roads. Date: Sept. 18 at 4:44 a.m.
• 57–year–old male, Homeless. Charges: Resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment. Location: 2600 block of Haverford Road. Date: Sept. 19 at 1:45 p.m.
