Robert De Niro Will Be In Delco Friday, And You Can Meet Him

Robert De Niro will be at the grand opening of a Delaware County liquor store Friday. There will be a meet and greet for 15 random guests.

Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro will be in Delaware County Friday, and you could have the chance to meet him.

De Niro will participate in the Friday grand opening of a new state liquor store in Glen Mills, officials with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board confirmed. Following a ribbon cutting, De Niro will have a private meet and greet with 15 randomly selected guests.

The grand opening event will be held this Friday, March 3, at 4 p.m. at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection Store at the Brandywine Mills Shopping Center, 1751 Wilmington Pike.

“The event marks the first time the critically acclaimed actor, director and producer has ever participated in a store opening,” the PLCB said in an event announcement.

If you want a chance to meet him, make sure to get in line early.

Beginning at 3:15 p.m., envelopes containing coupons for wine and spirits will be distributed to the first 300 people in line. (You need to be 21 or older to participate.)

Fifteen of those envelopes will also include “golden tickets.”

If you get a golden ticket, you’ll have access to a private in-store meet and greet photo opportunity with De Niro, plus you’ll get a gift card to the store and chase to purchase limited edition VDKA 6100 with De Niro’s signature.

The ribbon cutting will happen at 4 p.m.

The store will be one of the largest Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in the state.

De Niro is a two-time Academy Award winner for his roles in “The Godfather Part II” and “Raging Bull.”
