School District Of Haverford Township Among Best In PA: Niche

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A new list of the best school district and high schools in Pennsylvania shows the School District of Haverford Township is among the best across the Keystone State

Education platform Niche recently released its lists of the best school district and best high schools.

When it comes to Pennsylvania, the School District of Haverford Township was ranked No. 26 among the state's best school districts.

Nationally, the district was No. 322 in.

The district earned an overall A+ grade from Niche.

Niche graded the district's academics, teachers, administration, and college prep an A+.

Clubs and activities were graded A- and diversity earned C+.

According to Niche, the district enrollment is 6,563 and has a student-teacher ratio of 17 to 1.

Niche says state test scores show 71 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 85 percent in reading.

As for the Haverford Senior High School, it was ranked No. 36 in the state.

Nationally, the school was No. 481.

Overall, the high school was graded A.

Specific grades were As for academics, teachers, and college prep; A- for administration; B+ for clubs and activities; and B- for diversity.
