Second Generation Dentist Joins Father’s Havertown Practice

Recent Temple Graduate Lives Out Dream of Working Side-By-Side With His Dad

HAVERTOWN, PA – Monday was an exciting day at Scheier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, (located at 123 West Eagle Road in Havertown, across from TD Bank) as Dr. Mitchell D. Scheier welcomed Dr. Preston Scheier, his son into the family business. A day both have been waiting a long time for had finally arrived and both men were eager and excited to begin this new chapter in their lives.

Formally Dr. Scheier & Associates, Dr. Mitchell Scheier changed the name of the practice to Scheier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, in preparation for his son joining the practice.

While most kids want to be firemen, astronauts, or super heroes when they grow up, Dr. Preston a recent Temple Dental graduate, knew from early on he wanted to be a dentist.

“His fine motor skills have been in use since an early age,” said Dr. Mitchell Scheier. “Preston used to love to play with Legos, build things and do anything else that involved using his hands and tinkering. As a parent this is an extremely proud moment for me, but as a dentist as well it’s an even prouder moment to welcome him into the practice I’ve been building for more than 32 years.”

Scheier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry offers a variety of general and cosmetic dental services including: Dental Implants, Porcelain Veneers, Endodontic (Root Canal) Treatment, an in-house Periodontist, Dentures, Invisalign (clear braces), Botox, Juvederm, and so much more.

“Monday was a very exciting day for me,” said Dr. Preston Scheier. “It was a day I’ve worked very hard to get to, a day I’ve dreamed about since I was a kid, and a day when my professional life began.”
