Several Blood Drives Coming to Haverford, Havertown This Month

HAVERFORD-HAVERTOWN, PA — We're in the throes of gift-giving season, and you can give the gift of life at several upcoming blood drives in Haverford and Havertown.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, more than 1 million units of blood could be transfused in the United States. Those with type O blood are especially needed.

You can dive blood at the following dates and locations in the area:

• 12/17/2019: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., Bon Air Fire Company, 541 Royal Ave., Havertown
• 12/20/2019: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., Haverford Estates, 731 Old Buck Lane, Haverford
  12/21/2019: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Memorial Church of God in Christ, 747 Buck Lane, Haverford
• 12/27/2019: 6 a.m. - 4 p.m., Haverford Area YMCA, 891 N. Eagle Road, Havertown
