Sex Assaults On SEPTA: Latest Details, What We Know
Another person has been taken into custody with sexual assaults on SEPTA apparatuses after a man was accused of rape one week ago.

UPPER DARBY, PA — Another man has been charged with sexual assault-related crimes in connection with incidents in SEPTA apparatuses, about a week after authorities said a man raped a woman on the Market-Frankford line.
Edwin Allen, 28, was charged with indecent assault and attempted sexual assault by Upper Darby Police Thursday stemming from an Oct. 20 incident, court records show.
According to Fox 29, a woman said Allen groped and assaulted her at the 69th Street Transportation Center.

Court records show Allen had been previously convicted of indecent exposure, open lewdness, and harassment in Philadelphia. He was released from prison on Sept. 22, court documents show.
Allen was held on $500,000 bail and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Nov. 8.
Allen's charges come a week after Fiston Ngoy, 35, was charged with rape, indecent assault, sexual assault and related crimes following an incident on Oct. 13.
Ngoy was taken into custody by Upper Darby Police at the 69th Street Transportation Center after authorities allege he harassed, groped, and raped a woman while passengers did nothing to stop it and did not call 911.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer recently said passengers who witnessed the Oct. 13 incident would not be prosecuted for coming forward to assist in the case.
"I want to be very clear about this," Stollsteimer said. "There is no law in Pennsylvania that makes it a crime to witness a crime and not do anything about it. You are under no criminal obligation to intervene and put yourself at risk."
Stollsteimer Thursday also dispelled rumors that passengers filmed the incident for "their own gratification."
Ngoy is being held at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $180,000 bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 25, court records show.
