St. Laurence Parish to Hold First International Food Fair
In conjunction with students and faculty from St. Laurence School, community members are invited to experience the food from more than 20 cultures.
St. Laurence Parish in Upper Darby is inviting community members to experience the food from nearly 20 countries at the first annual St. Laurence International Food Fair on March 29.
The event, chaired by parishioner Hank Teti, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Parish hall, located at 8245 West Chester Pike in Upper Darby. Admission to the event, which will include live music from various cultures, is free. Tickets will be sold for food.
St. Laurence School students made ceramic bowls for the occasion, and will be selling them to visitors. There will be additional activities available for children at the event.

“This is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the rich cultures in our community,” said Father Sean F. O’Neill, St. Laurence pastor.
Countries represented at the event will include Ireland, Vietnam, Spain, Philippines, Ethiopia, Korea, Nigeria, Germany, Hungary, and more.
