Stolen Car From Upper Darby Used In NJ Robbery Attempt
Authorities said a vehicle stolen out of Upper Darby in January this year was used in a robbery attempt in Camden.
UPPER DARBY, PA — Police in New Jersey are looking for a man who tried to rob a gas station while using a car stolen out of Upper Darby.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Pennsauken Township Police Department are asking for the public's help to identify a man in connection with the attempted armed robbery of the Gulf Gas Station on Route 73 in Pennsauken.
The incident happened at about 8:54 p.m. on Jan. 19 when police say he arrived at the gas station in a stolen gray 2012 four-door Toyota Camry with Pennsylvania Registration. Police said it was reported stolen out of Upper Darby on Jan. 14, but has since been recovered.

The man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and demanded money, threatening the attendant with a silver handgun, police said. Before getting money, the man fled the scene in the stolen car, police said. No one was injured in the incident.
